Bavarian Cabbage Salad


  • 1 cabbage
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 2 peppers
  • salt and pepper
  • vinegar
  • 1 teaspoonful of prepared mustard
  • yolks of 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoonful of sugar


Chop cabbage with onion and celery and peppers; season well with salt and sprinkle with pepper.

Heat some vinegar; add prepared mustard.

Then beat the egg yolks with sugar.

Add the hot vinegar slowly to the beaten eggs and mix with the cabbage.

Serve cold.
